Workshop on Determining Standards in Beekeeping was Held

Dairy Cattle Breeding Enterprises, Small Ruminant Herd and Free-Range Egg Poultry certification programs, a certification program is also being prepared for Beekeeping. In this context, a Workshop on Determining Standards in Beekeeping was held within our Center. Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hakan Öner, President of the Turkish Beekeepers Central Union Ziya Şahin, Prof. Dr. Yakup Yıldırım, the Project Manager of the Diagnosis of Some Common Viral and Parasitic Diseases in Honey Bees and Developing and Implementing Programs to Combat These Diseases to Prevent Honey Bee Deaths and Increase Hygienic Honey Bee Products, Dr. Lecturer Habibe Yaman from the Center for Standardization and Certification in Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, relevant academicians and producers attended the workshop. We thank all participants who contributed with their opinions and suggestions at the workshop, which had a high level of participation.
