The Process of Evaluation and Certification of Dairy Cattle Enterprises According to the Livestock Standards Determined by Our University Has Started

The process of 'Certification of Dairy Cattle Enterprises According to Agricultural and Livestock Sector Standards' has been initiated by our center. In this context, two enterprises located in Bucak District, namely 3E Tarım Hayvancılık Gıda İnşaat San. Tic. Ltd. Şti and Çangır Tarım Hayvancılık Gıda Turizm İnşaat ve Hayvancılık Hizmetleri San. Tic. Ltd. Şti, were evaluated on-site. The evaluation process was accompanied by our university's faculty members, 3E Tarım Hayvancılık business owner Mehmet KARAGÖZ, Çangır Tarım Hayvancılık business owner Hikmet ÇANGIR, and Vet. Hek. Tarık ÇAĞLAR from Bucak District Agriculture Directorate. The process, which started with an opening meeting, ended with a closing meeting after evaluating the enterprises' compliance with the standards of “Shelter Structure and Adequacy”, “Herd Health and Management”, and “Hygiene”.

As a result of the evaluation, the suitability of the criteria will be examined and certificates will be given to the enterprises in three categories: bronze, silver, and gold.
